At FINOVA we know that, to achieve a perfect slice, it is not enough just to have good machinery. Choosing the right blade for our slicers is essential to optimize performance, improve process efficiency and guarantee the final quality of the product.
Each product has its own characteristics that require a different type of blade. Therefore, our blades are designed to adapt not only to the model of slicer, but also to the type of food to be sliced.
Available diameters according to slicer model
The diameter of the blade directly influences the cutting capacity and adaptability of the machine. At FINOVA we work with three sizes:
- Ø 370 mm: used in SliceFil-300, 310, 320 and 360 models.
- Ø 430 mm: used in SliceFil-400, 600, 420, 620, 625, 650 and 660.
- Ø 460 mm: used in SliceFil-400, 420, 620, 625, 650 models.
Important: models with interleaver systems must be fitted with the Ø 430 mm blade.
Types of blade finishes and their application
Each type of product requires a specific blade, both in terms of texture and consistency. These are the available options:
Type C Blade – Smooth
Ideal for cooked products, very soft cured sausages, fish such as salmon or cod, as well as vegetables or frozen chicken breast.
In some cases, a Teflon coating can be applied to this blade to cut soft and very pasty products, improving the sliding of the cut.
Cz type blade – Reinforced
Designed for cured sausages or products with a harder texture. Provides resistance without compromising the quality of the cut.
Teflon-coated serrated blade
Specially designed for soft and sticky products such as some cheeses, vegan sausages or certain varieties of cooked sausages.
These blades incorporate a special unidirectional serration that guarantees a clean and precise finish, especially on difficult-to-cut products.
Note: this type of blade cannot be sharpened.
Manufacturing and technical characteristics
Materials and balance
All our blades are made of reinforced stainless steel.
Each is designed to have exactly the same weight, allowing them to be interchanged without disturbing the balance of the machine. This avoids unwanted vibrations during the cutting process and ensures stable and uniform operation.
Sharpening system
The blades can be sharpened with our blade sharpener, with a standard angle of 23°, which guarantees a perfect balance between precision and cutting durability.
In addition, the customer has the possibility to adjust this angle between 20° and 24°, depending on whether he prefers a thinner cut or a stronger cutting edge.
At FINOVA, we do not only manufacture high performance slicers. We offer complete solutions adapted to every need, where the choice of blade plays an essential role. Choosing the right blade allows you to get the most out of your machinery, guarantee a quality end product and maintain efficiency at every stage of the process.
